品种特性

 “金丝龙鳞”竹秆基部以至相当长一段秆的节间连续呈不规则的短缩肿胀并交斜连接如龙鳞 (龟甲)状，节片上有黄色丝状、线状或条状纵条纹将绿色分隔，犹如碧玉上绣着金丝。

秆状如龙鳞(龟甲)的植物既稀少又珍奇，特别是较高大的竹株，为竹中珍品，可大量片植，也可以数株植于庭院醒目之处，也可盆栽观赏。最佳观赏期4月中旬至10月中旬。

适种范围

长江中下游、秦岭-淮河以南，南岭以北。

Variety characteristics

From the base of bamboo culms to a relatively long culm, the internodes are continuously irregularly shortened and swollen and connected obliquely, such as dragon scales (tortoise shells). There are yellow filaments, threads or strips on the nodes to separate the green, just like gold threads embroidered on jasper.

Culm-shaped plants such as dragon scales (tortoise shells) are rare, which are treasures in bamboo. They can be planted in large quantities, or several plants can be planted in eye-catching places in the courtyard, or potted for viewing. The optimum ornamental period is from mid-April to mid-October.

Suitable ranges

It can be planted in the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River, south of Qinling-Huaihe River and north of Nanling Mountain.
