品种特性

该树种从普通柽柳中经数年选育改良，小乔木，树干通直，夏季亮绿色，秋季变黄，夏秋季开花，花粉红色，耐涝、耐旱、耐寒、耐瘠薄，更耐盐碱，具有高杆直立、抗逆性强等特点。

该树种秋末变色后挂叶期长，种子不萌蘖，可作为行道树等绿化应用；也可在不适宜粮食作物和经济作物的土地上栽种，具有良好的经济和生态效益。于2019年获得国家林业和草原局颁发的“植物新品种权证书”，曾荣获2021年“第十届中国花卉博览会观赏苗木新品种奖”、“2020黄河流域生态治理十大推介树种”、“2019-2020年度山东省十佳新优树种”、“2019全国十佳耐盐碱苗木金奖”等称号。

适种范围

栽培于中国东部至西南部各省区，可在1.0%以上土壤含盐量的重度盐碱地上种植。

Variety characteristics

The species is selected and improved from Tamarix chinensis Lour. trees for several years. Small tree, erect trunk, new shoots drooping. Bright green in summer, yellow in autumn. It blooms in summer and autumn, and the flowers are light pink,resistant to waterlogging, drought, cold and barren, more tolerant to salt and alkali, and has the characteristics of high stem erection and strong stress resistance.

After discoloration in late autumn, the leaf hanging period is long and the seeds do not sprout, so it can be used as street trees and other greening applications; and it can also be planted on land which is not suitable for grain crops and economic crops, which has good economic and ecological benefits. The tree species was awarded the "Certificate of New Plant Variety Rights" issued by the State Forestry and Grassland Bureau in 2019, and won the titles of "New varieties Award for ornamental seedlings of the 10th China Flower Expo in 2021", "Top Ten recommended Tree species for Ecological Management of the Yellow River Basin in 2020", "Top Ten New excellent Tree species in Shandong Province in 2019-2020", "Gold Award for Top Ten Salt-tolerant seedlings in 2019" and so on.

Suitable ranges

The variety is suitable for cultivation in eastern to southwestern provinces of China, and can be planted on severe saline-alkali soil with more than 1.0% soil salinity.
