初春开花，是重要的早春景观种树，福建地区花期为3月上旬至3月中旬，开花15-20d。树姿半开展，株高约4-6m，冠幅约2-3m，植株挺拔，花量大，芽点密集，整体花色呈淡粉色。

适种范围

在亚热带及部分暖温带地区均可栽植，本品种已在福建、广东、江西等地栽植，品种性状表现良好。
