品种特性

植株3到4公分即可开花，花开白色，香气十足。该品种叶片稍大，呈圆形，长势迅猛。嫩芽是别具一格的紫色，随着叶片的木质化程度慢慢变化为深紫色、黄绿色，直至完全返青。一年3次发芽，每次彩叶变化过程可持续60天左右，丛植效果极佳，植株自然成型，是不可多得的好品种。

喜光，对土壤要求不严格，在酸性和中性土上均可生长，较耐干旱瘠薄；生长快，寿命长，易繁殖。可作为在园林景观中色块搭配、彩化、香化的特色树种。

适种范围

可在华东、华中、西南及华南地区栽植。

Variety characteristics
