品种特性

高大落叶乔木，10年左右植株树冠长卵球形。当年生枝紫色，幼叶颜色紫黑色，成熟叶片上表面紫色，下表面紫红色，雌花序及花柱紫红色。

紫红叶色、高大乔木和超强适应性是该品种的三大特异性状，填补了国内常色叶高大乔木彩叶植物新品种选育的空白，把彩叶植物在园林应用中由配角提升到了主角地位。

适种范围

秦岭和淮河以南枫香原种分布地区。

Variety characteristics

Tall deciduous trees, the crown about the 10 year’s plant is ovoid. The current year's branches are purple, the young leaves are purple-black, the upper surface is purple and the lower surface is purplish red of mature leaves, the female inflorescences and styles are purplish red.

Purple-red leaf color, tall and super adaptability are the three specific characteristics of this variety, which fills the blank in the breeding of new varieties with color-leaf plants in China, and promotes the color-leaf plants from supporting role to protagonist in garden application.

Suitable ranges

It is suitable to be planted in the original distribution area of Liquidambar formosana in Qinling Mountains and south of Huaihe River.
