品种特性

树干较直，侧枝斜展，树冠圆球形，长势旺盛。叶片掌状5裂，叶片上卷，当年生枝条新梢红色，成熟叶绿色，变色期早，秋季叶片转亮红色，可园林孤植、列植、片栽或山地丛植，是优良的秋季观叶树种。该品种可做园林绿化观赏，制茶，其木材坚硬，为优良的建筑、家具、雕刻、细木工用材。树皮纤维可造纸及代用棉。

适种范围

适宜温带和北温带地区，我国东北、华北、西北、华东等地均可栽培。
