品种特性

小乔木，树冠卵圆形，树型向上。叶长椭圆形，革质，开展叶片红绿色；花大，重瓣，紫红色，浅杯状，花瓣椭圆形，花萼浅红色，翻卷，尖三角形，被毛，雄蕊80-100枚，高于花柱，花药黄色，花丝浅红色，花柱5，基部被毛。果实形状为椭圆形，花萼不宿存，挂果期短。以重瓣、红紫色花朵为主要观赏特征。

国内各省及亚、欧、北美等区域。

Variety characteristics

Small trees, ovoid crown and upward tree-shaped. Leaves long-elliptic and leathery, spreading leaves reddish green. Flowers large, double, purplish red, shallowly cup-shaped, petals elliptic, calyx light red, revolute, pointed triangular, indumentum, stamens 80-100,  calyx higher than style, anthers yellow, filaments light red, style 5, base hairy. Fruit shape is oval, the calyx does not persist and the fruit hanging period is short. The main ornamental characteristics is double red-purple flowers.
