品种特性

半常绿小乔木，在西安地区表现为延迟落叶。株形紧凑，冠幅饱满。长势旺盛。小枝绿色，老枝褐色。每年4月为集中开花期，6月中下旬开始二次开花，陆续至10月下旬。花小、繁密，舌形萼片状，淡黄绿色，外面紫红色，内白色。雌雄蕊群紫红色。绿叶期长，落叶比其母本；‘红元宝’晚2个月。本品种为三倍体植株，不结实。

适种范围

郑州、西安、杭州、成都、深圳及其气候环境相似区域（7b-10区）。

Variety characteristics

Semi-evergreen small tree, showing delayed defoliation in Xi'an area. Compact plant shape and the crown full, growing vigorously. The branchlets green and the old branches brown. Annual concentrated flowering period in April, secondary blooming from mid-late June, and keep flowering until late October. Flowers small and dense, tongue-shaped sepals, yellowish green, purplish red outside and white inside. The pistil and stamen are purplish red. Green leaves long, which deciduous 2 months later than its female parent. This variety is a triploid plant and does not bear fruit.

Suitable ranges

It is suitable for Zhengzhou, Xi'an, Hangzhou, Chengdu, Shenzhen and similar climate environment areas (7b-10 zones).
