落叶小乔木或灌木。叶膜质，宽倒卵形或倒卵状圆形，上面深绿色，下面灰绿色。花杯状，白色，具白兰香气，下垂，倒卵形。单花期2d，单株花期可达6星期。花被片枯黄脱落后，紫红色的雄蕊和黄绿色的雌蕊仍可保留数天，具有较强的观赏性。花期6~7月，果期8~9月。

沈阳、郑州、西安、杭州、成都、深圳及其气候环境相似区域。（6-10区）。

Variety characteristics

Deciduous small trees or shrubs. Leaves are membranous, broadly obovate or obovate-orbicular, dark green leaf adaxially and grayish green on abaxially. Flowers cup-shaped, white, with fragrance of Michelia alba DC. Syst., drooping, obovate. The single flowering period is 2 days and the flowering up to 6 weeks per plant. After the tepals are withered and shed, the purplish red stamens and yellowish green pistils can still be retained for several days, with strong ornamental. The florescence is from June to July and the fruit maturing is from August to September.
