落叶灌木到小乔木，株型紧凑。小枝褐色，老枝灰色。叶椭圆形、倒卵状椭圆形，小叶腹面绿色，背面浅绿色。花顶生；杯状，外轮花被片绿色，腹面白色，基部有时略带黄色。成熟蓇葖果紫红色，圆柱形。花期3月下旬~4月上旬，果熟期8月。

适种范围

郑州、西安、杭州、成都、深圳及其气候环境相似区域（7-10区）。

Variety characteristics

Deciduous shrubs to small trees, compact plant type. Branchlets brown, old branches gray. Leaves elliptic or obovate-elliptic, green leaflets leave ventral, light green leave abaxially. Flowers termina and cup-shaped, outer tepals green, white ventral and sometimes yellowish at base. Mature follicles purplish red, cylindrical. The florescence is from late March to early April and the fruit maturing is August.

Suitable ranges

It is suitable for Zhengzhou, Xi'an, Hangzhou, Chengdu, Shenzhen and similar climate environment areas (7-10 zones).
